"What Would You Do?"
Song

"What Would You Do" is the debut single released by American R&B/hip hop trio City High from their self-titled album in 2001. The song and music video is a motivational anthem for single parents dealing with poverty and especially for single mothers who feel forced into prostitution due to the need to support their children.[1] It is the group's most successful single to date, peaking at number 8 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100[2] , Number One on Billboard Hot Rap Singles[2] , Number 13 on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks[2] and number three on the UK Singles Chart[3]. The song features an interpolation with Dr. Dre's hit song, "The Next Episode", and is also included on the Life (soundtrack) of the film, Life, starring Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence[4].
