Die Antwoord (Afrikaans: "The Answer") is an Zef-Rap band from Cape Town, South Africa consisting of Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er and DJ Hi-Tek
The band labels themself as a mixture of many diverse cultures all mixed into one.
The band has signed with Netherlands music company, Magnetron Music, and is planning to tour Europe in April 2010. They will be visiting France, Belgium, Amsterdam and London.
All their songs can be listened to on the Official Website.
The Website had such a large number of visitors that the service provider crashed twice within the first 24 hours after launch.
Press Coverage
Die Antwoord has received a lot of press coverage from the media. Articles were published in local newspapers Beeld, Die Burger and Raport.
On 02 February 2010, they featured on the American live television program Attack of the Show!.
Discography
The majority of their debut album, $O$, was released for free on the Internet in 2009 - Ninja also handed out free albums with hand-drawn artwork at live shows called $O$: Burnt By the Master.
