Matches is a multi-channel luxury clothing and accessories retailer, based in London, United Kingdom. Offering the best of the best in established and international labels for women and men.
History
Matches was established in 1987 by Tom and Ruth Chapman and has grown into a multi-channel retail business consisting of 14 stores across London in Marylebone, Notting Hill, Wimbledon Village and Richmond[1].
In 2006 Matches launched their online store Matchesfashion.com to further enhance Matches position as a bricks and mortar retailer, allowing Matches to become a true multi-channel business.
Designers
Matches try to present customers with a careful selection of collections from designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Christian Louboutin, Alexander McQueen, Burberry Prorsum and Lanvin across mens and womenswear aimed at creating an eclectic shopping experience.
Alongside the established international collections, Matches also remain committed to fostering new, emerging talents and bringing them to their customer-base. Previous seasons have seen Matches work with designers such as Brian Reyes, Sykes and Rag & Bone.
