Oceano

Oceano were an American deathcore band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2006. The band signed to Earache Records in 2008 and subsequently released their debut album, Depths, on April 7, 2009.

History

The band was founded in 2006 by guitarist Jeremy Carrol. Carrol gathered Chicago guitarist Andrew Mikhail, vocalist Adam Warren, drummer Daniel Terchin and bassist Kevin Colabuono to form their first full line-up in 2007. Oceano signed to Earache Records in 2008 after gaining a notable local following. Oceano recorded their full debut album Depths in late 2008, releasing it worldwide on April 7, 2009. Jeremy Carrol was released out of the band and the band finished their tour with Evergreen Terrace without him. The band has been busy touring, but news on the band is they have also released guitarist Andrew Mikhail in February of 2010. Shows and tours have not been cancelled, but statis on their new guitarist is still unknown.
