Sura (English: Shark) Tamil film directed by SP Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. Confirmed stars of the film include Vijay and Tamanna Bhatia. The film was previously titled as Urimai Kural. The film, upon release, Vijay's 50th film.[1] .The movie was distributed by Sun Pictures for distribution rights.This is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Chottamumbai. [2]

Development
The shooting of the movie started in Kerala in November 2009. The shooting then continued in different places in Tamilnadu like Marakkanam in Villupuram,Pondicherry,mahabalipuram,thoothukudi and as well in Chennai. Vijay hosts lunch for Fishermen in the coastal area from Chennai to Pondicherry.[3].
During the shoot of the movie in pondicherry a difference in opinion between the director and the Cameraman resulted in the replacement of the cameraman M.S.Prabhu . He was replaced by N. K. Ekambaram[4].
