The Sweet Basil jazz club was a jass club in Greenwich Village in New York City. The club was considered amont the prominent jazz clubs in New York<ref>The Cleveland Plain Dealer. Paul ODonnell. Many jazz albums were recorded live at Sweet Basil, including Iwontunwonsi and Live at Sweet Basil.
