The Sweet Basil jazz club was a jass club in Greenwich Village in New York City. The club was considered amont the prominent jazz clubs in New York [1]. Many jazz albums were recorded live at Sweet Basil, including Iwontunwonsi, Live at Sweet Basil, The Jean-Michel Pilc Trio - Together - Live at Sweet Basil.
