Confirmed (add request)

Hi, I have an screenshot of gameplay I would like to upload to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. Thanks, Queenofthejews (talk) 23:29, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to add a photo of Horace Hogan to his article. The photo I have is one I screenshotted from one of my DVDs. The fact that Horace does not have a picture on his page is a travesty as I believe he was one of the few not well known members of the nWo who had quite a future ahead of him had he stayed in Pro Wrestling. Thank you - Jblackwell1989 (talk) 18:50, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I'm not an admin, but I would like to weigh in here: you have had an account since 2008, so I would recommend just making the nine more edits required to become autoconfirmed. Arctic Night 02:25, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to edit the Shuki Levy page to correct some information. I currently work for his nonprofit foundation, and I'm also his official webmaster. His Wikipedia entry currently says he has a son, which is not true. Also, he has recently taken over a historical music studio in Los Angeles, and he directed a feature film released last year that hasn't been listed. I would like to add/edit this information, but first I need to be confirmed. Thanks. - kosherheart 02:42, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
I want to upload a SVG version of File:Jammu-Kashmir-Maharaja's-flag-1846-1936.gif which i created for german wikipedia - Zuse (talk) 14:20, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since this will be a public domain image, please upload this to commons:commons:Upload. Thanks, –xenotalk 14:28, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
i was not sure about the licence. I uploaded it in commons and changed the links. thanks for clearification --Zuse (talk) 14:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And  Not done per above. -FASTILYsock(TALK) 09:29, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I like to make typographical corrections. Poor grammar and spelling, or simple mathematical inaccuracies. It is frustrating to see typos on semi-protected pages and not be able to fix them. - Tufelkinder (talk) 04:46, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm new here, and quite confused. I asked an author (A.J. Healy) to e-mail me a picture of him so I could post it on his page (which I created). I tried upload it on his page, but it was deleted in seven days afterwards. I do have permission to use the picture, but what do I have to do? Is this where I'm supposed to get wikipedian permission? - Darren Mulligan (talk) 02:28, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You may wish to read WP:IUP and WP:PERMISSION first. -FASTILY (TALK) 07:40, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to edit Roger Federer's page by updating his nicknames. Current nickname redundancies and lack of popular ones - Woody1984 (talk) 10:08, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Question: Can you provide a reference source for the nicknames you would like to change? Regards, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 11:26, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(I would like to add a picture to the article Demi Lovato. The picture is so ugly and multiple users were begging somebody to replace it. I found a really good one but since the article is semi protected and I couldnt replace the picture. And the picture is not attractive at all.") - Jkim4007 (talk) 05:33, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would love to be able to actively contribute by editing pages that will benefit the Wikipedia community in a substantive way, and I look forward to having this opportunity.

Question: What type of images do you intend to upload? Are they released under free licenses or are they copyrighted/non-free content? -FASTILY (TALK) 20:38, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(The specific picture of Demi Lovato I intend to upload is free. I am not sure about others.)
Sorry, but could you please explain what you mean by "others" first? -FASTILY (TALK) 01:07, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What I mean is that if and when I upload images beside the Demi Lovato one, I am not sure if they will also be free. If you dont want me to upload non-free images, I will not upload them.
If you're not sure about the copyright status of a file, please do not upload it. Also, please do not upload copyrighted photos of still living people, this is a violation of WP:NFCC#1 and those images will be deleted. But if this really is a free image you wish to upload, I'd recommend doing so at the Wikimedia Commons; images on Commons can be used on Wikipedia as if they were uploaded directly to Wikipedia. -FASTILY (TALK) 07:36, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
