The Image

Someone put the credits for Lora to the image used in this article, she drew it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.59.47.5 (talk) 18:41, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday

Putting Noodle's birthday as 1991 is an error. It's never been stated when she was born. Seeing as how she was officially stated to be '10' in the first Gorillaz biography, released in 2000, but is now officially 14, the idea that one can infer her birth year from her age is clearly wrong. ~ Masked Avenger

Merge

Really ought to merge this into the Gorillaz entry...

I don't know, I think the part I recently added warrents Noodle having her own page. -Unknownwarrior33 23:33, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Tasumi" Interview

If the interview's legit, shouldn't it be kept on the page since it tells her real name? D4S 18:18, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly, D4S. I was the user who added that on there. Fiolexgirl44 00:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ender's Shadow reference?

I was just reading about how Noodle was a secret Japanese government experiment and was the sole survivor of the 23 super soldiers created, the rest of whom were destroyed as a coverup of the experiments. Lately, I've been reading some books from the Ender's Game series (namely the Shadow series,) and I couldn't help but notice the connection. The character of Bean was the result of some illegal genetic experiments and one of 23 infants created in the lab and also the sole survivor. Coincidence?--Foot Dragoon 06:58, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah Foot Dragoon. Maybe you should add that on Noodle's page. Fiolexgirl44 00:18, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Noodle's a dead girl, miss 'er miss 'er?

Anyone else seeing parallels to the whole John's death thing with the Beatles? What with the image of three pairs of legs and then a fourth seperate and distinct... You know?--The Sporadic Update 05:32, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You mean Paul's death. Anyway, RIP, Sweet Noodle.Oh wait, There was a Youtube video about noodle in the song "All Alone".--168.13.191.66 15:49, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, Noodle didn't die! In the El Mañana video it may look like she dies, but the book "Rise Of The Ogre" tells us it was all staged and she actually jumped out in a parachute. Evilhamster95 15:14, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
but it has been stated that murdoc saving her from the crash was just a drunken delusion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.170.13.95 (talk) 11:50, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Transmission transcript change

I swapped the old transcript for the Rise of the Ogre version in the Epilogue. Is that ok with everyone? --Gerkinman TNG 16:33, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gerkinman, I saw an interview where I heared Muds say "I agree with Tasumi here." so that could be her name. I have no clue about her last name though. Fiolexgirl44 00:22, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Noodle's MySpace

A couple of people have found her MySpace on Murdoc's computer a while back. What is it? -Unsigned

Yeah and didn't she tell her name once. -Unsigned
NoodleLovesJoo and I believe her name is "Hikiraku Amber Kostenko" but I have no clue. she will eventually tell. -Kimmi
Yeah, her Yahoo is Noodle_axe_princess. -Unsigned

"Slowboat to Hades" conspiracy

Also, with the recent destruction of the Kong Studios lobby, and the add of the Slowboat to Hades clip, at the ending it shows three pairs of legs, suggesting that Noodle may possibly be dead. Although if you look closely in the back, you can see part of a fourth leg and the legs all the way to the right, you can see Noodle sitting.

I appreciate the idea, but that's a part of the actual box art, where Noodle was actually sitting towards the front. The legs placed to the far right were actually Russel's. --Rexy 13:46, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rexy,you should add that on Noodle's page as a reference. Fiolexgirl44 00:05, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup needed

This page really needs to be cleaned up. I did a quick job, but someone more knowledgeable with a bit of time needs to organise it a bit more. 195.28.231.13 11:37, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birthday

Can anyone cite her birthday? There's no reason to put an exact date AND "late '91." D4S 19:19, 13 January 2007 (UTC) Well she was born in the year of the Monkey so she was probally born somewhere between 2/4/92 to 2/22/93 so I'm guessing she could be born on 2/25/92.Fiolexgirl44 00:25, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fan trivia

Is the bit about fanfiction really necessary? D4S 19:19, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Direct quote or transcription?

The article mentions some distress transmission and then quotes it as follows:

Murdoc!!!!! Russel... Is anybody there??!!! It's me, Noodle...... Is there anybody there!!!! You need to reply...... Helllloooo!!! Come In..... It's Noodle ... I've found the missing...... they're coming!!!! ..... (quieter) the reception here is really terrible ... (Back to normal volume) MURDOC!!!!!! ...... Murdoc, you got to get the combin..!!!! Come in!!!! They know where you......... Mur ....You must get out! .... It's coming from BENEATH the building! You have to get out! .......... Murdoc, hurry before it's too late. MAYDAY ...MAYDAY ... Murdoc!!!!! COME IN GORILLAZZZZ!!!!!

What I'm wondering is if this is a direct quote from a written source (i.e. Rise of the Ogre, which I haven't read) or if the editor just listened to it and wrote it down. Because if it's the latter, then we could do away with all the excessive exclaimation points and all-caps, as that's probably not an encyclopedic way to quote someone. I'm guessing it is in fact a direct quote, but I'm asking here on the off chance it isn't since the article wasn't explicitly clear to me about it.--Foot Dragoon 02:17, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its the direct source, I copied it out of the book exactly as it was :) (I'm Gerkinman TNG BTW, didn't bother logging in) 86.22.118.27 10:06, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mistakes

These are the mistakes that I found while cleaning up the page. The mistakes are striked out. There's probally a lot more.

  • 1= What restaurant?

At age 10, Noodle arrived on the Gorillaz' doorstep in a FedEx crate, in response to the ad they placed for a guitarist in the NME. She could not speak any English beyond the word "Noodle", thus earning her the name. She quickly settled in, and was accepted as the fourth member of the band.

In November 2003, Noodle went back to Japan to find out the truth about her past. Upon her return to Japan, Noodle regained her memory after hearing the code-phrase 'ocean bacon' at a restaurant*1. There she coincidentally met with her creator/mentor, Mr. Kyuzo, who was working as the head chef in the restaurant, who explained the memories she had regained. It turned out that she was one of the test subjects in a secret government super soldier project. As a result, she is a master of all weapons, but her speciality is guitar. Out of the 23 children created for the project, Noodle was the only one to survive; the others were all destroyed by the government. Mr. Kyuzo had smuggled her to safety in England after reading the aforementioned ad placed by the other three Gorillaz members in the NME. The other two code-words (one to erase her memory and the other to turn her into a frenzied killing machine) are known only to Noodle and, presumably, Mr. Kyuzo, though Murdoc has a very keen interest in finding out what they are. Fiolexgirl44 00:40, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its tattooing it has was created with it is thus not a tattooing nor unje human girl but it is a supersoldier. -Unsigned

Nudoru vs. Noodle

I'm going to swap this back to Noodle, not only because Nudoru is just an Engrished-up version of Noodle, but because it doesn't conform with the rest of the article. Also, the name didn't come with her from Japan, she was named Noodle because that was the only English word she knew. TJohnson 06:59, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Real name

It cannot have a name which he is a supersoldier a strong category moreover than that of human this thus explains its changing aspect which is odd it is that its black of eyes turns to very clear sweet chestnut which have would say green in the manana EL. -Unsigned

Purple hair?

Noodle's hair isn't purple. It was just given a purple tint in part 2 because the art got more detailed, and that apparently was the light reflecting off of it that made it look purple. Noodle2D23 (talk) 19:01, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Handedness

The article mentions that Noodle is seen holding a guitar neck in her left hand, which implies that she is right handed, but has been seen with a pen in her left hand, which implies that she's ambidextrous. I would ignore the idea that the guitar implies her to be right-handed, since many left-handed guitarists learn how to play right-handed. Not only is it much easier to find an instructor to teach how to play right-handed, but right-handed guitars are much less expensive then left-handed guitars. If Noodles is writing with her left hand, I doubt it really matter if she plays right-handed. --Sdragon1984 (Note: Does personal experience add any validity to this?) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.175.154.145 (talk) 00:35, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

new video, Stylo

she gets shot and, from what i have seen, she's a robot? anyone else wanna check that shit out?

it the cyborg clone. —Preceding

Noodle alive

As seen in some fan photos, of real Gorillaz art, Noodle has been seen alive, either with a cat mask, or without it, in a bathing suit, and in japanese cat customes. Wether these are dream drawings of her, or not, I wanna include this detail in here. If she's dead altogether, I can, or any can, change and edit the page again.
