The University of Science and Technology-Houari Boumediene (USTHB) is a university located in the town of Bab-Ezzouar a fifteen kilometers from Algiers, Algeria. The university was designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and was inaugurated in 1974. You can follow different courses: Pure and Applied Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, civil engineering, electronics, information technology, process engineering, mechanical engineering .. etc.. Largest university in Algeria, it has an importance in university education in the country, and has over 400 000 students in various fields of training.
