Camfrog is a video chat client created by Camshare LLC first launched in 2003. The client has attracted over 30 million downloads with millions of registered users. [1]

Camfrog Client

Camfrog client is like other instant message programs in that it allows users to instant message each other privately. Users can also interact via a private one on one audio / video chat. Unlike most instant message programs users can also connect to one of thousands of chat rooms available, to view other users live video, text chat and audio chat.

Features

Chat

Camfrog client includes the ability to access Camfrog hosted and user hosted video chat rooms. Users have the ability to create their own rooms with a variety of themes. User rooms have different rules than Camfrog hosted rooms but must still follow the basic Camfrog Terms of Service.

File Sharing

Users may send files to each other via camfrog with a max file size of 100mb

Snapshots

Snapshots are images that can be sent from one user to another from their webcam

Profiles

Camfrog features profile pages for users age 16 and over.

Terms of Service

Camfrog has a detailed set of rules that are strictly enforced by Camfrog staff and user volunteers. Users are monitored in chat rooms by operators. Operators are often users who show interest in volunteering to monitor and enforce room rules. Operators must be 18 years of age.
