The Dainty Fat Mouse (Steatomys cuppedius) is a species of rodent in the Nesomyidae family. It is found in Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and Senegal. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
