Laura Edge

Laura Edge is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Finchley and Golders Green.

She has served as a Liberal Democrat Councillor on Haringey Council for 6 years having been elected in a by-election in Stroud Green ward in 2004. She will not be standing again in the local elections on May 6 in order to concentrate on her campaign to become a Member of Parliament on May 6th.

By profession she is a legal aid housing solicitor. Her work includes defending possession proceedings, assisting homeless applicants and bringing disrepair counterclaims. She is passionate about improving housing conditions and increasing the provision of social housing.
