Douglas Spaulding

Douglas Spaulding', born in 1933, is a Shakespearean Actor and author of a controversial speculative work on the life Shakespeare and the origins and analyses of the playwright's works. He lives in Chautauqua, New York, and is a past honorary member of the Spalding Gentlemen's Society. He is a lineal descendant of Edward Spalding, the original Spalding resident of the Jamestown Colony, joining it in 1619 Spaulding has also authored many genealogical documents and traced numerous family trees, including but not limited to many current descendants of the Mayflower survivors.
