Welcome...

Hello, Triberocker. I see no one has properly welcomed you to Wikipedia, so let me correct that oversight. Welcome and thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Hi, I'm not here at the moment. Feel free to leave a message.

Sorry to have missed you in the 30 seconds that supervened between my leaving you an explanation and your erasing it. I'll repost it here for your convenience as well as on my own talk page, where you left your question. Accounting4Taste:talk 22:50, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your note. The article at Market America was tagged, and deleted, because it had previously been the subject of an articles for deletion discussion that it had failed, and those articles get deleted automatically. In order to return this article to Wikipedia, it's not sufficient merely to post it; it would have to go through the process at deletion review. I don't recommend continued reposting without going through the Deletion Review process because another administrator may decide to make it impossible to ever recreate this page by SALTing it. If I can help further, you can leave a note at my talk page. Accounting4Taste:talk 22:45, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of U.S. towns with foreign country names

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of U.S. towns with foreign country names, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of List of U.S. towns with foreign country names. Rjd0060 (talk) 05:09, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The version I added the tag to had some red links (cities without articles) which would have needed citations. Now that you've adjusted the page, the {{refimprove}} tag could be removed. - Rjd0060 (talk) 05:27, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Marketamericalogo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Marketamericalogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:19, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NB

  1. It would be easy to demonstrate that you are making the recent anonymous edits to “Phi Kappa Psi”.
  2. It's easy to show that you didn't move the material when you claimed that you had.

I suggest that you altogether withdraw from editing this article. —SlamDiego←T 00:59, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

You have been granted with the rollback permission on the basis of your recent effort on dealing with vandalism. The rollback is a revert tool which can lessens the strains that normal javascripts such as twinkle put on the Wikipedia servers. You will find that you will revert faster through the rollback than through the normal reversion tools such as javascripts and the undo feature, because the rollback feature does not require fetching the data from the page history and then sending article data back to the Wikipedia server as the javascript requires, therefore you could save time especially when reverting very large articles such as the George W. Bush page. To use it, simply click the link which should look like [rollback] (which should appear unbolded if you have twinkle installed) on the lastest diff page. The rollback link will also appear on the history page beside the edit summary of the lastest edit. For more information, you may refer to this page, alternatively, you may also find this tutorial on rollback helpful.Yamamoto Ichiro 会話 02:55, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comments needed

You are receiving this message because you are listed as an active participant in WikiProject Meteorology, WikiProject Severe weather, and/or WikiProject Non-tropical storms. I have made a proposal to start an official assessment page for these three projects, under the WP:METEO banner. Since this would need significant participation to work properly, I'd like input from as many interested parties as possible (even those who may not watch the project pages), so please visit the discussion here and leave your thoughts/opinions. Thanks! -RunningOnBrains 02:38, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of United States towns with the same name as subnational regions. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of United States towns with the same name as subnational regions. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:17, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of U.S. towns with foreign country names”, an article that you created, has been nominated for deletion, in the belief that it does not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. An explanation may be found at the start of “Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of U.S. towns with foreign country names”. So long as you are not otherwise subject to a block or ban, your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you and others are quite allowed to continue editing the article to address these concerns. (In some cases, such edits may persuade those participating in discussion that the article should be kept.) —SlamDiego←T 13:56, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Phi Kappa Psi

Hi Triberocker, I'm a Phi Psi who recently started to edit here. I read that you no longer edit, but I'm informing you that I plan to edit the Phi Kappa Psi user template. If you still are editing, I'm more than happy to discuss this with you, and collaborate so that common ground is achieved.

Do not engage in personal attacks as you did here. Persistence in doing so will result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. —SlamDiego←T 02:52, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've posted an RfC about a controversial topic. I believe that you've participated in discussions about this before. Please participate dispassionately. NYCRuss 11:51, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
