InIVA is the Institute of International Visual Art, an internationally reknown arts institution that represents culturally diverse artists, curators and writers.[1] It consists of exhibition spaces and the Stuart Hall Library, and together with Autograph AFB is housed in Rivington Place[2], a visual arts centre in Shoreditch, in the heart of London’s East End.

InIVA is a registered charity and was established in 1994. The organisation is funded by Arts Council England and governed by a Board of Trustees. The group works with artists, curators, creative producers, writers and the public to explore the vitality of visual culture, and aims to reflect cultural diversity in the visual arts.

Iniva and Autograph APB partnered to build Rivington Place, a five-floor 15,000 square foot visual arts centre in East London. The building was designed by leading architect David Adjaye opened to the public on 5 October 2007 and cost £8 million. It is the first publicly funded build of its kind since The Hayward Gallery opened more than 40 years ago.
