Administrative divisions

Danwon-gu is divided into the following "dong"s.

  • Wa-dong
  • Hosu-dong
  • Gojan 1 and 2 Dong
  • Wongok 1 and 2 Dong
  • Seonbu 1 to 3 Dong (Seonbu 3-dong: Hawjeong-dong)
  • Choji-dong (Divided in turn into Wongok-dong, Choji-dong, Wonsi-dong, Mongnae-dong and Seonggok-dong)
  • Wongokbon-dong (Divided in turn into Wongok-dong and Singil-dong)
  • Daebu-dong, Daebu Island (Divided in turn into Daebudong-dong, Daebubuk-dong, Daebunam-dong, Pungdo-dong and Seongam-dong)
