Alix Wilton Regan is an award winning British actress working in Film, Theatre, TV and Voiceovers.

Alix graduated from the Drama Studio London with a Post Graduate in Acting at the age of 20. Her first stage appearance as Hannah in the two-handed RETREAT by playwright James Saunders, won a FringeReview Award for Most Outstanding Theatre Show at the Edinburgh Festival 2007 and transferred to the New End Theatre, London.

Fluent in French, Alix has taken French speaking roles for screen, stage and voiceovers. She is a full Equity member and the Founding Director of the London On Film Festival.


Biography

Alix Wilton Regan is an award-winning British actress born on 26th January 1986, in London. Fluent in French by the age of 4, Alix attended L'Ile Aux Enfants primary school, the Lycee Francais Charles de Gaulle for her secondary education and Latymer Upper School for her A-Levels where she scored 3 A-Grades in Theatre Studies, English Literature and French. After graduating, Alix enrolled in drama school and became the youngest ever student to be admitted to the NCDT and CDS accredited Drama Studio London. Whilst training, Alix represent her school at National level, in the BBC Radio Carlton Hobbs Awards. Alix was honored by the BBC panel with two Special Commendation Awards: Best Shakespearean Monologue and Best Contemporary Duologue.

Alix's first play out of drama school was the two handed RETREAT by James Saunders, which was honored with the FringeReview Award for Most Outstanding Theatre Show of The Edinburgh Festival 2007, form which the play secured a transfer to London's New End Theatre. Since then, Alix has performed in theatrical productions at Theatre Royal Haymarket, The Tricycle, The King's Head, The Arcola and The Landor to name a few.

Awards and Reviews

Alix was the lead actress in RETREAT by James Saunders, which was awarded the 2007 Fringe Review for Most Outstanding Theatre Show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

She was the recipient of Two Special Commendations awarded by the BBC during the Carlton Hobbs Radio Competition of 2006. Alix also won Best Shakespearean Solo and Best Contemporary Duologue, with the judges commenting that "Alix in particular created a real character, good and punchy."
