Dell Precision™ Workstations are built for large networked environments and designed for technical professionals requiring top performance in graphics-heavy applications. Dell Precision offers a selection of high-performance graphics cards from unprecedented OpenGL 3D performance to dependable 2D performance with optional dual monitor capability; this coupled with multi-core processors give you the speed and performance your business needs. 3-year Limited Hardware Warranty with Next-Business-Day On-Site Service is standard on all Dell Precision™ workstation. All current generation Precision Mobile workstations are built with a magnesium-alloy exterior, which is lighter and twice as rigid as plastic for long-term durability, and steel hinges that add an extra layer of strength, minimizing daily wear and tear. Each notebook platform endures extensive drop, vibration and battery tests. StrikeZone™ Shock Absorbers- Helps protect hard drive against knocks and drops.

Dell partners with leading Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to certify system and application compatibility to ensure optimized performance in demanding workstation environments, and at Dell we invest in the workstation ISV community by providing the hardware platforms needed to further multi-threaded and 64-bit application development.
