Chris Walker (born 1964 in South Yorkshire) is an English actor most notable for playing Rob Hollins, in the BBC daytime soap opera Doctors.[1]

Career

He also played PC Larry 'Tiger' Barton in the BBC television drama Merseybeat. He has also had a role in Coronation Street the ITV Soap opera, playing former prisoner, Ed Jacks.[2] He had a minor role as a fireman in the comedy series, One Foot In The Grave.

2009: Doctors

In the summer of 2009 Chris landed a major role playing a Police Sergeant in the BBC Soap opera 'Doctors'. He plays Rob Hollins the husband of Karen Hollins and father to Jack Hollins and Imogen Hollins.

Personal life

Born in 1964 in Yorkshire. Walker always wanted to be an actor. He first bcame an actor in 1987 and did theatre for many years until landing a role in Coronation Street. In 2009 he joined the cast of the BBC Birmingham soap opera, Doctors, playing Police Sergeant, Rob Hollins. Chris now lives with his partner, Sharron, who is a converted railway station. He has two children from a previous marriage.
