My name is Colin. I'm a history education student at University of Central Oklahoma. I read the census for fun. The name "Tosei" was the original pseudonym of haiku poet Basho. It means "peach in blue". I liked it, and since he's been dead for several centuries, I didn't think he would care. Some people believe that Basho was a ninja posing as a poet, although, as the article on ninjas notes, this theory is generally regarded as totally without merit by serious historians. This is one more reason that serious historians are no fun.
