Joel Romelo (born 3rd April 1989) is an Australian rugby league player for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. His primary position is hooker. Originally from Darwin, he is of Aboriginal and Italian heritage.[1]

Romelo made his NRL debut for the Penrith Panthers in Round 8 of 2009. After playing three games for the club, he was sacked for disciplinary reasons in March 2010, and was rapidly signed up by Canterbury.[2] After playing in the Bulldogs' NSW Cup side, he made his NRL debut for Canterbury against his former club, Penrith, in May that year.[3]
