Domestic Blitz is an Australian lifestyle and DIY television series that debuted on the Nine Network on May 18, 2008, in the same former Sunday night 6:30 - 7:30pm time slot occupied by Backyard Blitz, which the show's format is based on. It is hosted by Shelley Craft and Scott Cam. It is based on the format of Backyard Blitz, which previously aired on the Nine Network, in the fact that it provides nominated candidates with a garden makeover, but also adds the element of renovating their houses as well. The show is similar to Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, in that the residents of the house being renovated either come from a disadvantaged background, or include someone with a terminal illness. The show has also occasionally featured surprise guests from overseas, such as Batista, Michael Bublé and P!nk.
