I would just like to ask why was my country (the Philippines) not coloured? Spanish is indeed not an official language here but there is still a strong minority who speaks Spanish. I belong to this minority. There are about 5000 of us who speak the language here. Aside from us who speak the standard form, there are about 250,000 who speak Chavacano, a Spanish-based creole.
