Bren Simmers

Bren Simmers is a Canadian poet. Her debut collection of poems, Night Gears[1], will be released by Wolsak and Wynn[2] in September 2010.

Born in Vancouver, she studied writing at the University of Victoria and has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The University of British Columbia. Winner of the Arc Poem of the Year Award[3] and shortlisted for the Bronwen Wallace Memorial Award, her poetry has been published in journals across Canada.
