Black Veil Brides

Black Veil Brides (abbreviated BVB) is an emo band which formed in 2006 Cincinnati, Ohio. [2]

History

The origin of the name according to Andy (Andrew Dennis Biersack) is on his fascination for the Catholicism of Rome and the dark image that it evokes; the term Black Veil Bride (girlfriend of black veil) comes from the church. When a nun had her coronation, she was marrying God and they literally had a ceremony in which they were dressing a black veil because she was yielding itself to the principal pleasures of the life.[3] Of the founding members of the band, none stays, only Andy, he that Sandra Alvarenga has been integrating to Chris Hollywood (guitarist) then to the drummer and On July 25, 2009, BVB announced that Bread and Ashley Purdy were joining the band, and that were employed at a new demo. They signed in September, 2009 with Standby Records.[4] In March, 2010, Chris Hollywood it left the band and entered Jinxx. Nowadays his first LP records We Stitch These Wounds the one that will be thrown on July 20, 2010.[5][6] The band have announced that they’ve signed with Standby Records in 2008.[7] The songs are mostly written by the producers and not by Andy.

The band began to record to Chin Music Studio in Cleveland, Ohio, his debut album with producers Don DeBiase y Johnny Burke (Modern Day Escapes, Beneath the Sky, etc), was released July 20, 2010.

On June 15, 2010, it was announced that Black Veil Brides will be the special guest with Vampires Everywhere!, Modern Day Escape and Get Scaredd at Hot Topic Presents: The Sacred Ceremony Tour, starting in July 2nd in outdoor cities and places across the US.
