Ben Stratton (born 1 March 1989) is an Australian rules footballer with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He is a medium defender capable of winning the ball in contests and using it well, especially by foot.

Stratton was originally drafted from East Perth, in the 2009 AFL Draft. He was a pick number 46. [1]

Stratton played for the Augusta Margaret River Football Club before being recruited to East Perth. [2]

Stratton spent three years with WAFL side East Perth before being drafted, He played 23 senior games and kicked 3 goals. [3]

Since coming to Hawthorn he played in two NAB Cup games. [4]

Stratton made his debut against Western Bulldogs in round 3 of the 2010 AFL season.

Stratton says he has a growing sense of belonging at AFL level with each passing week. [5]

Stratton was the round 14 NAB AFL Rising Star. [6]
