Phillip "Phil" Jimenez is an American comic book writer, artist and penciller.

His realistic and richly detailed art style is heavily influenced by the work of George Perez.

He is probably best known for his work on Wonder Woman (1998), New X-Men (2003), and Infinite Crisis (2005).

Other titles he has worked on include Team Titans (1993), Showcase '93 (1993), JLA/Titans (1998), The Invisibles (1997) and DC Special: The Return of Donna Troy (2005).

In 2004 he produced a creator-owned fantasy miniseries, Otherworld, which was published by DC Comics' Vertigo imprint.

Trivia

He dedicated his work on the (1996) miniseries Tempest (which he both wrote and pencilled) to deceased DC editor Neal Pozner. Pozner had been the first editor to hire Jimenez, and the two subsequently had a relationship.
