Review
This figure happens to be a notable autobiography (thanks, Google News). —I-20the highway 13:42, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
I have limited the text and referenced pretty much all of the content, what can I do to improve the article? Sallyfitzgibbons (talk) 15:31, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Is it appropriate to put a link to a subjects personal website? Sallyfitzgibbons (talk) 17:22, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes and no: yes, it is appropriate to add an external link to the official site of the subject of an article; no, it isn't appropriate for you to be doing it. Please see Wikipedia:External links#Advertising and conflicts of interest.
- Frankly, you shouldn't really be editing this article at all, with the exception of the sort of uncontroversial edits set out at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#Editors who may have a conflict of interest. Please see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Autobiography. The creation of autobiographies is strongly discouraged, so in my opinion the article ought not to have been created in the first place. Please see Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest for helpful advice on managing a conflict of interest. -- Rrburke (talk) 17:42, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for that, I have explained to a few editors that I am not Sally Fitzgibbons, I wish I could change the login name. I used sallyfitzgibbons as the user name just to remind me about the wiki. Sallyfitzgibbons (talk) 20:05, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
