Bogar

Bhogar or bhogarnathar was a legendary South Indian siddhar (herbal healer). He was said to have been born into a goldsmithing family, and to have had miraculous powers. He is also said in some New Age circles to have been associated with Mahavatar Babaji.

He was the disciple of Kalanginathar who transferred all his knowledge to bhogar and assigned him several task for this world. He is referred to as [[1]] in chinese tradition and Kalaginathar was referred to the great confusious.

He is supposed to have travelled all around the world and spent ot of years in china in developing taoism. He is called the supreme tao master according o chinese tradition. He was supposed to be lived for more than 3500 years and he attianed his jeeva samadhi in palani murugan temple. He worshipped the goddess bhuvaneshwari and thottichiamman who were the force behind bhogar's achievement.
