Las Palmas is the Necropolis of the District and home to 417 housing units known as Las Casas.
Residencial Las Casas is a public housing complex consisting of 417 housing units. It is managed by the Puerto Rico Housing Authority (Administracion de Vivienda Publica) under the federal housing program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The residential complex is located in an area used by the United States military as a training camp for the Puerto Rican Regiment of Infantry during World War I and World War II.
