Please correct insignia

Wil,

Great work with the graphics and Wikipedia. One note - The insignia for a Senior Chief Petty Officer DOES have a single star, but it SHOULD BE POINTED DOWNWARDS. This was a deliberate design feature and you can take a look at the actual device (as sold on Vanguard's site) to verify.

Based on my research the "newer" insignia of the Coast Guard and some variations of the Navy's point up. Both variations actually exist, as a result of a series of events, as seen here: [1] --Officer781 (talk) 10:27, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
