Article Feedback Pilot AWB run

Hi!

Thanks again for volunteering. We're good to go for the AWB run. Every article (not talk page) that's part of WikiProject United State Public Policy should be put in Category:Article Feedback Pilot.--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 17:39, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This task has been finished. I-20the highway 04:21, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks so much! Can you think of a good way to make sure new articles get tagged as the WikiProject adds new articles? Already, there are 463 articles in the WikiProject compared to 415 in the category. It's not super critical that every single article is in the category, but it'd be nice to more or less keep up as the project grows. Cheers--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 16:26, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
(Sorry for the late reply) I can't do this right now. I will regenerate the list I used though, and as you have AWB access you can add the articles. I-20the highway 23:38, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's no problem. I figured out how to do with with AWB list comparisons, and did it already. Thanks!--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 23:40, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging redirects for deletion

When your bot tags a redirect for deletion, please leave the redirect there - just prepend the speedy deletion tag, on a separate line. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 09:30, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

pywikipedia throws a fit when a pg3.get(), but I'll see. I-20the highway 13:21, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:36, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

IQMS article submission

Thank you for reviewing my article on IQMS. Your comments were that it was felt spammy and had some unreasonable references. Can you give me more specifics so that I can change it or address it? All of the references come from outside publications and leading experts in our industry. (I see if you are unfamiliar with out industry the Wong and Scavo blogs might not appear reliable. But they industry experts for the ERP industry) I did try to keep in line with the Wikipeida guidelines and used Plex systems, a similar company, as a content guide. But even Plex references their own blog a few times which I though questionable so did not do the same.

Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

I saw some blogs (like you mentione) and some peacock terms, so please remove them. I-20the highway 19:38, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Retired user 0001. You have new messages at Perricline's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
I understand the peacock terms and will remove those. But he remaining blogs are industry specific experts in our field. Accordiing to what I read these could be considered reasonable and veriable because they are "established expert on the topic of the article whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable third-party publications. "

Thanks again, Perricline (talk) 18:35, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can the bot only check newly created pages using the AfC tag in the mainspace? Some users add new articles onto the end of existing ones, like the above. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 02:32, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

History link update. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 02:33, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm on a wikibreak, but I'll see. User:I-20 violating his wikibreak as 24.178.137.65 (talk) 20:40, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't want to work... might as well put a check that if a page is > 1 week old, don't move. I-20the highway 20:48, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Now checking if the first revision of a page was in AfC. I-20the highway 21:03, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What's going on??!!

I created a new article, Fred Evans (comedian) - something I have done, literally, hundreds of times before with no problem - to find that the bot had redirected it to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Fred Evans (comedian). What????? Why????? Please sort it out. Ghmyrtle (talk) 21:39, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shutting off until further notice. User:I-20 as 24.178.137.65 (talk) 21:53, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
