Jessica Feshbach Rodriguez has been noted in the media for her relationship with actress Katie Holmes, wife of Tom Cruise. Rodriguez is a "high-level Scientologist" and has been characterized as Holmes' "Scientology minder".
Relationship with Katie Holmes
According to the August 2005 issue of Style magazine, Rodriguez was introduced to Holmes soon after Holmes' first meeting with Tom Cruise, a prominent Scientologist. Some in the press have speculated that Rodriguez is Holmes' Scientology "minder" or "handler"; she and other "monitors" follow the actress everywhere, communicating via wireless communication devices.[1]. Rodriguez calls herself Katie's "best friend", but when asked how long they've been friends, Rodriguez replied vaguely, "Oh, a while....I don't know."[2]
St. Petersburg Times tape recording
On Feb. 27, 2009, long-time Scientology parishioner Larry Anderson met with two church officials, Tommy Davis and Jessica Feshbach, in Burbank, Calif. Anderson, the star of the Scientology film, Orientation, openly recorded their 90-minute conversation.[3]
