Primary Characters

Gingka Hagane

Seiyuu - Aki Kanada
Voice Actor - Robert Tinkler
Beys used: Storm Pegasus 105RF -> Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F
Special Moves: Pegasus Starblast Attack, Pegasus Tornado Wing, Meteor Shower Attack, Full Power, Pegasus Storm Bringer, Galaxy Nova ->

Gingka is the new hero of Beyblade Metal Fusion. He appears to be generally laid back (he is often seen sleeping and he generally does whatever he feels like doing) unless something happens to his friends or his beyblade or that he has to fight in a beybattle. He would surely do anything to save his blade if it were to be somehow damaged : he even jumped down a building just to catch his Storm Pegasus 105RF to keep it from hitting the ground. What is certain though is that this Japanese boy is not afraid to fight 100 beyblades! But he believes in his friend's (Pegasus') power, so he is victorious. During his battle against Ryuga, Gingka thinks about his father Ryo, especially the day he died as a consequence to his own battle against the L-Drago owner in Koma village. His father's strength back then encouraged him to beat his most fearful opponent. Needless to say, Ryo influenced his son in several ways, for instance appearance-wise and personality-wise. Gingka was extremely sad when his father passed away. Ever since that day, he bears an immense hate towards Ryuga in his heart. In the anime, Gingka's charisma is made very obvious: he is extremely happy whenever somebody suggests to beybattle against him, even if they are enemies. After too many battles and little time to take a break, Gingka's body might be subject to a 'breakdown'; however, he is ready to come back into the game as soon as he is fully conscious. Although he is a brave beyblader most of the time, Gingka is still afraid of injections, needles. When he was sick and lying in a bed at the B-Pit, he dove under the covers and kept saying he did not need anything while trembling. The first time he encounters Ryuga after the incident between him and his father, he rapidly transforms into an insane blader who has forgotten all about his principles: instead of beyblading for fun, he has a deep and deranged hatred towards Ryuga and he would easily lash out at anybody who dared come in his way to avenge his father. He had only one idea in mind: make the Lightning L-Drago owner pay, dearly. For all his childhood, Gingka had a close friend: Hyoma. Both grew up in the same village, and they spent all their time beyblading. At the end of the first season, Gingka had lost his Storm Pegasus after his match with Ryuga. During the battle, he had sincerely wanted to help Ryuga, his eternal enemy, because he knew that the L-Drago just possessed him and that he was not in control at all. Since his beyblade was too damaged anyway, it disappeared into the sky. Gingka had to go find another one, Galaxy Pegasus, which was stuck in a block of rock inside a hidden cave. He had a lot of trouble controlling its overwhelming power at first and it really irked him: he did not feel the thrill of the beybattles, he just won them without really acting. Eventually he was able to master Galaxy Pegasus after forming a new bond with it.

Kyoya Tategami

Seiyuu - Satoshi Hino
Voice Actor - Peter Cugno
Beys used: Rock Leone 145WB -> Counter Leone D125B
Special Moves: Lion Gale-Force Wall, Lion 100 Fang Fury, Lion Wild Wing Fang Dance, King Lion Tearing Blast

Kyoya is first shown as a leader of a gang in Kenta's town called the "Face Hunters". After Gingka comes and defeats Benkei and some of the other members he starts to get interested about Gingka. He tells the members to challenge Gingka to a 100 to 1 battle, after Gingka wins he battles him on episode 2 and after being defeated by Pegasus's Star-blast attack he is confronted by Doji who says he will help him defeat Gingka. Later in episode 8 they show Doji dropping Kyoya off in "Wolves canyon" and when Kyoya almost falls off the cliff he climbs up to a ledge which have dens which seems to be occupied by wolves. When he used lion-gale force wall the wolves are not scared until Kyoya scares them with new power! After he finally goes home in episode 9 he battles Gingka on more time in episode 10, Gingka and co. notice he is not himself when he starts to go crazy and nearly killed Benkei and Kenta by almost destroying the storage building when the face hunters hang out. Although when Gingka unleashes a new move called Pegasus meteor shower attack he slices through King lion tearing blast and gets Kyoya flashbacks of his life he snaps out of it but since he was defeated Doji comes and badly wounds Kyoya ending him up in bandages all over his body. After a few episode he joins Gingka and co. but he it is Gingka's #1 rival(besides Ryuga) and wants to beat him.

Kenta Yumiya

Seiyuu - Emiri Katou
Voice Actor - Lisette St Louis
Beys used: Flame Sagittario C145S
Special Move: Sagittario Flame Claw

Kenta is Gingka's friend and depends on him to save him from the Face Hunters. He was captured by the latter, just like Kyouju by the Shell Killers. When Bull's owner disturbed the battle he was having, he fought to keep his Sagittario even as the other kids around him lost their beyblades to the Face Hunters. After a few days though, he decided that he wanted to act more on his own to prove himself to everybody. He however lost against Hikaru in the anime, but Benkei surprisingly helped him with a tough training that did make him stronger in the end. Both of them became very good friends because of that. They even teamed up to participate in a Tag Battle tournament where they experimented with Beyblade customization. Their complicity was so great they won the game, and later they were coming up with odd names for special moves, like 'Side Step Shoot', 'Side Winder Shoot', 'Faint Shoot' and 'Merry-go-round Shoot', in Kenta's case. He spends his free time having beybattles with his other friends. Flame Sagittario[brother] and Flame Libra[sister] are claimed to be siblings.

Benkei Hanawa

Seiyuu - Kenta Miyake
Voice Actor - Jason Deline
Beys used: Dark Bull H145SD
Special Moves: Bull Uppercut, Dark Bull Red Horn Uppercut, Tornado Bull Uppercut

He is a bully part of the Face Hunters gang, therefore he mercilessly fights young beybladers and collects their defeated blades afterwards. At first, he was about to beat Kenta, but Gingka gave him advice and Benkei then lost his match, and some of his hair (he loses another line of hair at the end of the first chapter). Benkei is both an evil character and comic relief. As is typical of bulls, Benkei easily gets frustrated. To express his anger verbally, he says "BUURUU!!", which is the way "bull" is pronounced in Japanese. In the anime, Benkei's launcher carrier has a bull motif. On the back of his vest, there is also his blade's Face in yellow/green. While he was mean at the beginning of the series, he rapidly became kind towards kids who were not part of the Face Hunters, especially when he recalled the sadness he felt when he lost to Kyoya as he wanted to convince him to say for them. This transformation to a more open nature somewhat pains Benkei's enormous ego. Benkei vows an extreme fascination for Kyoya. He gets all crazy whenever he idolizes his ex-leader. He tries to follow him as much as possible; he even trains with him in the manga, before Battle Bladers. Benkei always wants to try to imitate his idol, yet he often fails in front of Kyoya's indifference. Throughout the anime series, and a short part of the manga, Benkei learns to become kinder to people, and he eventually befriends Ginga and his friends, especially Kenta. He helped train the latter when he wanted to defeat Hikaru, using brutal techniques like throwing Kenta around the stadium to have him get back on his feet. With this harsh training though, their friendship strengthened a lot. In general, Benkei is very powerful physically. He can easily move big rocks, for instance. Usually, he is also very loud and of an angry nature. Deep inside, though, it is certain he can be soft. At the end of episode 19, Kenta and him were so proud of their performance together at the Tag Battle tournament that they were inventing launch moves and special attacks. Benkei's were 'Thunder Vacuum Shoot' and 'Snake Strike'.

Madoka Amano

Seiyuu - Kei Shindou
Voice Actor - Barbara Mamabolo
Speciality: Beyblade Mechanic

Madoka's father owns in a Beyblade shop called "B-Pit". There, in the basement, she has a large and sophisticated equipment to analyze and treat beyblades. Her favourite thing to do seems to be getting to know more about blades and taking care of them like, she thinks, they should be. She somehow always has the right information in her computer, showing side and top views of a new beyblade easily and drawing diagrams without any difficulty. Her catch-phrase is 'you followin' me?'.

Yu Tendo

Seiyuu - Kaori Nazuka
Voice Actor - Denise Oliver
Beys used: Flame Libra T125ES -> Infinity Libra GB145S
Special Moves: Sonic Wave, Sonic Buster, Inferno Blast

At first, Yuu is the most innocent kid imaginable: he looks and walks around a little cluelessly and he sings a soft tune to himself before his match with Kenta. However, as the fight begins, he soon reveals his slightly darker side that makes him want to beat opponents easily and ruthlessly. Afterwards, he goes back to his innocence. In other words, his strategy is to make his opponents believe that he is very happy and that he admires them, only to hit them when they expect it the least with destructive attacks that dig giant holes in the ground. He also uses sound to solidify the earth and otherwise create huge soundwaves that immobilize everything and everybody, in general. Yuu works for Dark Nebula. In a sense, he is just like the cute, lively side of Doji. However, it is unclear whether he really has identical objectives, but he seems to support the evil organization anyway. What is certain is that he knows that people become vulnerable in front of cute things, and he fully uses that to his advantage, consciously or not. His room in the Dark Nebula building is filled with toys, and he likes pizza and ice cream. He is slightly annoyed by Tsubasa's indifferent attitude all the time. At one point, Yuu realizes just how bad Dark Nebula is; he is unhappy with the evil actions that are being taken, and Daidouji, noticing this, makes him watch some of Ryuuga's crushing battles against their own members, and then he forces him to fight Mizuchi. His beyblade inevitably gets destroyed by Poison Serpent and he will leave the building/organization in tears and weak, knowing that everybody has betrayed him. He had cried and begged Mizuchi to stop hitting his Flame Libra, however the battle never stopped until he made a blinding light and used this diversion to exit the place. He went to Gingka and the others, with whom he had found that he really wanted to be friends. Fortunately they accepted him. In Explosion, Yuu is good enough to qualify in the small tournaments to represent Japan at Big Bang Bladers. Flame Sagittario[brother] and Flame Libra[sister] are claimed to be siblings.

Tsubasa Otori

Seiyuu - Miyu Irino
Voice Actor - David Reale
Beys used: Earth Eagle 145WD -> Dark Aquila D145WD
Special Moves: Metal Wing Smash, Stream Slash, Counter Stance

He acts graciously in battle, because he is confident in his Earth Eagle's power. Tsubasa is not easily bothered, as he often has a very calm attitude. In the manga, during his matches, he barely opens his eyes, only doing so when he really gets serious. In the anime, Tsubasa always has an eagle following him as his companion. He basically seemed to be living in the forest before he met Gingka. For some reason, he let the latter win his match against him in Battle Bladers, in the anime, because he seemingly was not bothered by it. He kept giving him cryptic hints on how to beat him, but he was still a worthy opponent. Tsubasa has a lot of concentration and agility, which is how he succeeds in catching fish in any water body. As he told Ginga, he looks out for the sounds, the wind, and the style or form. In short, Tsubasa is quite the mysterious character. He became Gingka's friend shortly after the met. He eventually decides to join Dark Nebula in the anime, giving Doji a reason that basically means he just wishes to improve his skills. Everybody in the evil organization does not trust him: he even had to battle the Kumade Brothers and Yu before being allowed in. He easily won, but it seemed as if he had not even demonstrated his true power. During his match with Yu, he kept calling him 'boy' or 'son', and asking where Yuu's parents were to let him go around like that. He was trying to trick him psychologically. Although he joined Ginga's enemies, it is not unreasonable to believe he is just spying on them under cover, trying to find a way to destroy them from the inside.

Masamune Kadoya

Seiyuu - Yuko Sanpei
Voice Actor -
Beys used: Ray Unicorno D125CS
Special Move: Purple Lightning Flash

Kadoya is the new lower enemy of Gingka who will eventually join his side like Kyoya did. He is a small kid, but he has a lot of guts. He follows Gingka wherever he goes to challenge him continually, losing almost everytime. Ginga and him often get into arguments over ridiculous things like the other's courage, or lack of courage. They will eventually pair up, with Yu and Tsubasa, to represent Japan in the Big Bang Bladers tournament. Masamune had previously not been able to participate in Battle Bladers. He really likes a certain food shaped as a orange sticks that are extremely spicy. Everybody who eats some regrets it once their mouth burns, but he seems to be used to the taste. Ray Unicorno, Masamune's beyblade, can seemingly teleport by transforming itself into rays of green light, and reappearing elsewhere in the stadium. In battles and in practice, Masamune will never give up and keep working harder. His number one goal was to defeat Ginga, and he never stopped challenging him until he beat him. Afterwards, Gingka became better at controlling Galaxy Pegasus though, and Masamune rejected his offer for a rematch after he saw how powerful the other's beyblade was though... Masamune has little self-restraint: if he disagrees with something, he will really not hesitate to say so, and he will be overly visual about it, shaking his arms around to illustrate his anger.

Rival Bladers

Tetsuya Watarigani

Seiyuu - Kenichi Fujiwara
Voice Actor - Scott McCord
Beys used: Mad Cancer CH120SF -> Dark Cancer CH120FS
Special Moves: Track Change, Six Crab Change

When he was slightly younger, Tetsuya had a blond friend called Echizen. He really looked up to him and they had a lot of fun together. One day, after they had beybattled, an intimidating black guy called Tabara turned up looking for Echizen. That day, Tetsuya discovered that his friend was in fact a coward: Echizen started shaking and quickly hid behind Tetsuya. The latter was brave though, and he told the other boy that he was Echizen. A battle between the two started, but Tetsuya was miserably defeated by the black boy; moreover, he unfortunately noticed that his friend had completely abandoned him in the snow, in an isolated area. These events made Tetsuya become slightly insane. He also developed an attachment for crabs, and they helped whenever he needed assistance. With them, he got his revenge on both Tabara and Echizen. It is probable that he had the latter seriously attacked by his crabs. All Tetsuya's sentences either contain or finish with 'kani', which is the Japanese word for 'crab'. Furthermore, he has a very characteristic laughter: kanininininini~ While he is quite creepy, this beyblader can still easily be shocked. Tetsuya really likes playing tricks to people; actually, what he appreciates is to put people in big trouble. He tells long, dramatic stories involving crabs to whole audiences while beyblading: everybody cries while he wins, until they realize what he was talking about. He also threw a pebble at Kenta's beyblade in their battle. Otherwise, he likes to fake an apology, then have people look one way, only to flee the other way and insult them from far away. As soon as he was born, he adopted the mimics of a crab. He has always liked to be near those animals, like on the beach. He always holds his indexes and major fingers up to imitate a crab's pincers. It is also not rare to see him bend his knees and walk quickly sideways. He made snowballs in the shape of crabs as well. One day, he got interested by Yu's not so discreet talk about there being no potential beybladers for Dark Nebula. He followed him with his typical crab walk and hid behind him. When Doji asked him why he wanted to join their organization, he answered that he wanted to beat Gingka. Doji then made him Dark Gasher CH120FS. For some reason, probably to trick his opponents again, he tied his hair up and removed his cloak with the holes in the general shape of a crab afterwards. He had a certain shine in his eyes and he acted very much like a girl, in general. Once he realized that Gingka saw through his act though, he quickly got back to his natural self.

Hikaru Hazama

Seiyuu - Marina Inoue
Voice Actor - Katie Griffin
Beys used: Wind/Storm Aquario 100HF/S
Special Move: Aquario Infinite Assault

This mysterious girl became such a cold, uninterested beyblader because other bladers kept destroying her hopes to be a good player in tournaments. When she was beaten miserably, she would break down crying while the other boy would just smirk. Her mother though, apparently ill, convinced her that she should never abandon and that determination is everything. Hikaru simply wanders around from place to place, defeating every beyblader who crosses her way. She became slightly interested when Benkei told her that she should challenge Gingka Hagane. However, since she did not know anything about the latter, she ended up thoroughly beating Kenta instead, because he had shown up claiming he was Gingka. She remained completely unfazed while she stripped him of all his Beypoints. He was the one to cry while she left the arena. In Explosion, Hikaru decides to temporarily quit beyblading because she is still hunted by her thorough defeat at Ryuuga's hands: he just completely blew her away, destroying a big part of the arena at the same time and making her unconscious. Even before the battle, she was shaking in fear.

Hyoma

Seiyuu - Tetsuya Kakihara
Voice Actor - Lyon Smith
Beys used: Clay/Rock Aries ED145B
Special Moves: Horn Throw Destruction, Wind Storm Assault

This guy is extremely mysterious and odd: he seems to live in the forest near Koma Village, but what is most strange about him is that, when he first meets Madoka and Kenta, he happily shows them his beyblade and he is aware that he has a weird name; on the other side of the forest, when he meets Kyoya and Benkei, he does all he can to hide that he owns a blade (when he wants to help Benkei who is being attacked by a boar, he hides in a bush and his Rock Aries appears out of nowhere; afterwards, it is caught by a hand...). He however lets it slip that Dark Bull's balance type impresses him, which arises even more suspicion in Kyoya. Hyoma was spying on the group before they separated into two formations, and Kyouya had felt that somebody was watching them. The strange boy also manages to have monkeys do his bidding, like stealing people's food. Whenever somebody mentioned Gingka, Hyoma appeared almost curious to know what they had to say about him. It also turns out that he was in fact one of Gingka's childhood friends. And despite all that, he still wanted to lead the group somewhere for some reason: once, he stops Kenta and Madoka from going out into the forest on their own to find Gingka, yet he is still more or less reluctant to get them somewhere. After these adventures in the forest, Hyoma decided to join Gingka's group and became good friend with Kenta. He showed them Green Hades, which is an enormous meteorite crater that turned the ground inside it into glass after a while. Its surface is very, very smooth, so his defense-type beyblade had the advantage. In general, he likes to give wise advice once in a while. Hyouma's goal was to battle Gingka, his friend, again to prove that he had improved. When they were young, they used to always play Beyblade together, so much that they transformed a trunk into a smooth stadium after all their beybattles.

Tobio Oike (Captain Capri)

Seiyuu - Akira Ishida
Voice Actor - Matthew Hawkins
Beys used: Storm Capricorne M145Q
Special Moves: Lightning Screw Driver

Tobio believes he is a soldier of some sort: he always acts as if he is really shooting with a gun and locking his target, when in fact he has a Beylauncher and an Angle Compass. When he wins a match, he says "Mission Complete", and "Mission Incomplete" when he loses. He always calculates his shots and angles. Tobio also seems to want to rid the streets of some of the bullies, which is why he tracked Kyoya down. As soon as he notices that his plans go wrong (or are ignored, in Kyoya's case), he easily gets ticked off and tries to find another plan of action. He is usually very feared among street beybladers. He goes by the name "Captain Capri". However, for some reason, he always likes sucking on a blue lollipop while executing his plans, which does give him a slightly childish side. He is also very bothered if his afro is messed up in any way. After his defeat to Ryuga with Ryutaro, he joined Dark Nebula in hopes of getting stronger.

Sora Akatsuki

Seiyuu - Machiko Kawana
Voice Actor - Bill Houston
Beys used: Cyber Pegasus 100HF
Special Moves: Avalanche Move, O.V. Drive

In the anime, Sora is a very big fan of Ginga: one day, he saw one of his battles in the Battle Bladers tournament, and he was totally amazed by his performance. When Gingka won, he therefore got up to cheer for him, and somehow he sensed that there was something they had in common at that moment, what with them being the only two people standing up and Ginga more or less looking in his direction. From that day on, Sora worked hard to become just like his idol, mostly when it comes to beyblading. One huge problem always comes into Sora's way: he is what we could call a 'natural loser'. As hard as he tries to be good and to make powerful attacks, his beyblade always ends up dropping to the ground weakly. Everytime he tried to imitate Gingka's Starblast Attack, everybody was shocked at first, yet his 'Cyber' just came falling to the ground naturally, due to gravity. Of course, Sora is annoyed by the fact everyone laughs at him during those times, but he usually gets back up soon after those incidents and he just keeps trying harder. Too bad for him he cannot even get a successful ending for his own special attack... In general, Sora is a very cool, laid-back kid who, like Gingka, would often sleep in a day. He does get ticked off over a few normal things though, and he can be quite insulting to people who are in his way, going on and telling Kenta's opponent in the Battle Bladers tournament to leave immediately, even pushing him. One of the only aspect of beyblading that Sora could not understand from Gingka at first was the Blader Spirit that is needed to beyblade well. Fortunately, Kenta helped him get on the right way by telling him to get his inspiration from the stars, even though Sora always keeps coming back to his imagined 'spirit' of Ginkga to lead him correctly. Kenta was really touched by his meeting with Sora, because the latter's determination is quite inspiring. When launching, Sora soars into the sky and shoots his Cyber from up there, aiding his launch with the force of gravity.

Ryutaro Fukami

Seiyuu - Yuki Hiro
Voice Actor - Shawn Meunier
Beys used: Thermal Pisces T125ES
Special Move: Distortion Drive

Ryutaro is a mysterious 'homeless' blader who spends his days telling people their fortune. Of course, his predictions are not always right, but he easily defeats people in Beyblade matches when they come back to him to complain. He is very inspired by the traditional Asian rituals and general things, as can be observed by the clothes he wears, the stylized fan he always holds, and all the accessories he otherwise has that are mostly seen in Asian countries. All his moves in beybattles breath a certain 'traditional Asian' essence. He often forms the shape of a star inscribed in a circle full of writings. To get somebody's attention or silence, Ryuutarou abruptly points his closed fan in their face. He otherwise likes to make fun of a few people, and he obviously tries to act like the wise, but evil one. His special attack consists of distorting the area around him and, sometimes, getting his beyblade to emit a very strident sound that destabilizes the opponent. The other blader also gets to a point where he has the illusion that everything around him has disappeared except for the beyblades and Ryutaro.

Ryo Hagane/Phoenix

Seiyuu - Sho Hayami
Voice Actor -
Beys used: Storm Pegasus 105RF -> Burn Phoenix/Fireblaze 135MS
Special Move: Burning Explosion

He is Gingka's father. Years ago, he had an incident with an evil bear, but he ended up helping it by getting rid of the branch that was stuck in its back, which was hurting it and causing it to attack Ryo. In their village, called Koma, they had a cult to the L Drago. But, one day, Ryuga appeared with the rest of the Dark Nebula organization. Gingka's father, who knew that his son had gone to the volcano that was being attacked, fought against Ryuga with his Storm Pegasus 105RF. The power of the left-spin blade was however too much for him and he lost the battle. As the mountain was falling apart and progressingly trapping him below big rocks, Ryuusei launched his precious Pegasus at the wall of rock behind Gingka and created a hole for his son to escape. After that, Ryo officially gave him his beyblade and died. Ryo basically has a personality similar to Gingka's. His father's death forged a deep scar in the latter's heart though, which easily makes him incredibly bitter towards Ryuga and he almost loses his mind sometimes, when he confronts him. Shockingly however, Ryo did not die after Ryuga and Dark Nebula stole L Drago: he was trapped amongst all the fallen rocks, but he found a beyblade, Fire Blaze, within those, and he used it to break away from the rocks. He later came back to Gingka but subtly, preferring to disguise himself as a mysterious character called Phoenix, and intent on reminding Ginga what playing Beyblade was all about. To show him that, he crushed his son's Beypointer. In Explosion, Ryo becomes the director or manager of the WBBA and his secretary is Hikaru. This shows how much he cares about the hobby.

Teru Saotome

Seiyuu - Nobuhiko Okamoto
Voice Actor - Scott Gorman
Beys used: Earth Virgo GB145BS
Special Moves: Pirouette, Grande Jete, Chasse, Allegro Entrechat

This boy used to be a very good and famous ballet dancer. Teru even has articles that were written about him on the net. He was very passionate in his performances, and it showed. One day, however, one of the stage lights broke and fell on him, breaking his right foot. This unfortunately rendered him unable to dance anymore. While he was in hospital, all he could do with his healing leg was watch television. He mostly enjoyed watching Beyblade battles, notably Gingka Hagane's. He eventually got really attracted to beyblades, and one of the girls in his dancing troup saw that. She had always admired him, and she was really shocked when she witnessed the accident that happened on stage. To try to make him happy, she soon brought him a very special beyblade: Earth Virgo GB145BS. This blade, he quickly learned, had very good abilities at keeping its balance and it also span around with grace, just like a dancer. He realized that was the perfect gift for him. It took him no time to get to a good level in beyblading, beating even reputed bladers like Hikaru with ease. His style is basically a copy of what he used to do when ballet dancing. Since he cannot do it anymore, that is his only way of keeping one of his passions close to him. In general, Teru is very calm and disciplined. He plays with interest, but also with clear goals in mind, such as getting his name known at least in the Beyblade world. He does not really talk a lot, but when he does, his words drip with content.

Busujima

Seiyuu - Takeshi Kusao
Voice Actor -
Beys used: Rock Scorpio T125JB
Special Move:

Dark Nebula

Ryuga

Seiyuu - Kenjiro Tsuda
Voice Actor - Carman Melville
Beys used: Lightning L-Drago 100HF -> Meteo L-Drago LW105LF
Special Move: Dragon Emperor's Soaring Bite Attack

He owns the mystical Lightning L Drago 100HF and is Gingka's ultimate rival. Coincidentally, he keeps his beyblade on his arm with something shaped like a dragon from the Asian legends. He is part of the Dark Nebula organisation, where he is seriously worshipped by all the followers, even Doji, an adult. Ryuga is the reason Gingka's father, Ryo, died. With the Dark Nebula, he attacked the town Gingka lived in. After defeating Ryo in a battle with his Lightning L Drago, rocks fell from the volcano on top Gingka's father. This is why Gingka hates Ryuuga so much, while the latter just seems to take pleasure in terrorizing bladers. He has no pity for anyone, and his unbelievable strength helps him destroy everything that stands in his way. Ryu, in japanese means dragon go to ralph aleilyto

Doji

Seiyuu - Takehito Koyasu
Voice Actor - Juan Chioran - Andrew Jackson
Beys used: Dark Wolf DF145FS
Special Move: Darkness Howling Blazer

Doji is the mysterious Dark Wolf DF145FS blader. He is after Gingka's life! He climbs down from a helicopter after Gingka and Kyoya's fight on top of the Face Hunters' hideout and attacks him by launching at the building and destroying it completely. He is the executive of an evil organisation called "Dark Nebula", whose goal is probably to destroy things with their beyblades. For the most, all he does is watch how fellow members, like Ryuuga, fair in battle while he is in his own technological hideout. If he has to intervene, he will probably predict the way things are going to happen so he can be at the correct place and remain quite punctual. The Wolf owner has a mostly polite personality, although he can be cruel at times. This way, he can mock people while appearing respectful. Strangely, in the anime, Doji offers his help to 'fellow enemies of Gingka': he brings Kyoya to a high-tech training facility so he can perfect his skills; he gives Dark Bull to Benkei to help him beat Ginga; etc. He even agrees to transform Tetsuya's Mad Gasher into a Dark Gasher. He is also incredibly rich for his age: he has a huge, well-furnished mansion, servants, a butler, futuristic computers and computer programs, the whole training facility, helicopters, etc. Moreover, Doji likes to drink orange juice in fancy wine glasses; orange juice which he keeps in bottles of wine. He seems to have a strange attraction to cactus as well: there are a few of those plants in his office in the Dark Nebula building, and he is often seen holding a minuscule one during his speeches there, as if it inspired him.He soon died in an explosion from Leone's Gale Lion Force Wall

Dan & Reiki Sodo

Seiyuu - Rina Satou
Voice Actors - Joseph Motiki, Jeremy Mortimer
Beys used: Evil Gemios DF145FS
Special Moves: Blaze Wall, Icicle Edge, Down-Burst

Formerly known as Twins A and Twins B, these two brothers work for Doji in Dark Nebula. In the first part of the series, they only act as one of the obstacles in Gingka and Kyoya's way when the two latter beybladers were trying to reach Doji and, ultimately, defeat him and Ryuga. Reiki and Dan used their complicity in Beyblade play to battle Kyouya when they still only had two separate, ordinary Light Wheel beyblades. However, as Doji gave them Gemios, they really combined their power into one top. They like to mock their opponents, especially when they show their tricks at the beginning of a beybattle and that the other is overwhelmed by them. Together, they eventually become the Killer Gemios Twins and operate closely to ensure victory. In a sense, they bypass the rules by being two beybladers to work with one beyblade, while their opponent is always alone. Dan, the blader dressed in red, is the more stubborn one; he takes the lead in their duo, always confirms or infirms Reiki's speculations, and otherwise orders his brother to do things. Reiki, who wears a blue jacket, obviously receives the commands and is supposed to simply follow them. However, both of them have the ever popular twin flaw: if they do not agree, they start an argument and get on each other's nerves, which ends up in them being distracted. Kenta used this to his advantage in his match against them. To fit well with their beyblade, which is based on the Gemini constellation and which illustrates two elements being swirled, Dan has the fire side of their combination, and Reiki, the ice. Together they make strong attacks, either individual or complementary, making big tornados that mix both elements. In general though, they talk a lot but slightly act like cowards sometimes, such as when they told Kenta they would be back to defeat him and rapidly ran away.

Kumasuke, Kumata & Kumaji Kumade

Seiyuu - Wataru Takagi, Hidenori Sokaki, Tsubasa Takanohashi
Voice Actors - Dan Petronijevic, Jeremy Mortimer, Susan Roman
Beys used: Rock Orso D125B
Special Moves: Bear Claw Slash, Trick Orso Step

These three brothers, often referred to as the Orso Brothers, all own the same beyblade with only slight variations of colours and work for Dark Nebula. The one who seems older, Kumasuke, appeared at the Battle Bladers Challenge Match to show his talent in beyblading. Together though, they complete each other in their brutality and do not hesitate to stamp on the opponent with all their strength. They generally look quite 'lumberman-like', and they are obviously very stubborn. As brothers, also, they do get angry at each other for simple things like losing.

Reiji Mizuchi

Seiyuu - Akeno Watanabe
Voice Actor - Brian Froud
Beys used: Poison Serpent SW145SD
Special Move: Venom Suicide

He appears to be very mysterious. The smirk he almost always has denotes a very sadistic personality. He seems very vicious as well, using his Serpent beyblade to slash very aggressively into his opponents, notably rendering Tobio's Storm Capricorne M145Q to a cylinder the width of a Face. Mizuchi is part of the Dark Trident, so he also obeys Ryuga's wishes. In battles, he takes great pleasure in completely destroying his opponents' beyblades. He traumatised many bladers this way, notably Yu. Oddly, Mizuchi appears to have a strong dislike for friendship speeches, as he started crying "painful" during Yu and Kenta's. He also seems to have been brought up in Dark Nebula in a dark room where he watched screens full of Gingka's beybattles. Mizuchi has fake snake eyes on his hair, as well as his normal eyes. Usually, when he shows his real eyes, it is synonym for destruction. In the same sense, his Poison Serpent often seems to behave like the Medusa, whose stare completely terrorizes a person.

Wang Hu Zhang

Mei Mei

Seiyuu - Mai Nakahara
Beys used: Aquario 105F
Special Move: Flight Of The Spaz

She is a representant of China in the Big Bang Bladers tournament. Mei Mei is more of a follower, and she seems to see Li Chi-Yun as a lord: she bows at each of his commands, even if they are not really orders. The two form a tag team though, and their moves are relatively well coordinated. Her performance is worse than his however. ralph alberto is his rival has the power to control everything

Chi-Yun Li

Seiyuu - Mitsuki Saiga
Beys used: Thermal Lacerta WA130HF
Special Move: Lizard One-Hundred Violent Slashes

This beyblader is a representant of the Chinese team. He surprises with his height, because he otherwise sounds very serious. He inspires respect from those around him though.

Wang Da Xiang

Seiyuu - Wataru Hatano
Beys used: Rock Girafe R145WB
Special Moves: Raging Hurricane Waves, Blasting Attack, Strong Arm Combo Attack

He is a fierce blader, he represents China in Big Bang Bladers.

Zhou Xing

Seiyuu - Hiroko Takahashi
Beys used: Poison Virgo ED145ES
Special Move: Azure Dragon Whirlwind Slash

Zhou Xing is a star amongst Chinese girls. He is always followed by his group of fangirls who cry at each of his moves, and he occasionally signs autographs for them. This popularity has given him an overly high confidence, and when Masamune almost defeats him on their first battle, that makes him change his mind to get more focused. However, he still loses on their next encounter, and that loss really makes his perception vary. He is the one to cheer his team up after they were beaten by the Japanese team, reassuring them that everything was alright, that it was just an experience.

Desert Thunder

Gasur

Seiyuu:
Beys used: Storm Northern Cross 125FS
Special Move: X-Typhoon

He is the leader of Desert Thunder. As the two other members, he is mature, and he battles seriously with dignity in battle to represent the Middle East. He is older than Gingka.

Karte & Zidane

Seiyuu:
Beys used: Rock Raven 125FS
Special Move:

The two can beyblade individually, however most of the time they form a solid team. Their beyblades, yellow and blue Rock Raven 125FS's, essentially fuse together to make one strong blade with very accurate attacks. Like Gasur, their leader, they are calm and mature.

Excalibur

Julius Caesar

Seiyuu:
Beys used: Gravity Perseus AD145WD
Special Move: Cross Black Excalibur

Julius is as bitter and cold as he is in battles because, when he grew up, around six years before the Big Bang Bladers Tournament, whenever he won trophies at diverse competitions and looked up to his Father for his words of encouragement, the man always indifferently said that Julius might have won some small competitions, but he was not the number 1 yet, therefore it was not worth his time. Right after, his Father always left him to go to work. Nero, Julius's brother in the manga, was always happy for him, but had to sadly watch his brother lose all his emotions and focus only on winning and becoming the best in all aspects. Julius always ended up throwing his trophies to the ground, thus shattering them completely. For him, all those trophies only ever made him upset. Fortunately, after his battle against Ginga in the tournament, which he lost, his Father recognised his mistakes and came to give his son a hug, which the latter wholeheartedly returned, happy to finally get recognition from the father he deeply respected. In the anime, Julius is the main player of team Excalibur, representing Europe, but two beybladers also join him sometimes as the second and third members: Sophie and Wells.

Sophie

Seiyuu:
Beys used: Grand Ketos T125RS (White)
Special Move: Grand Storm, Grand Victoire, Grand Carillon (With Wells)

Sophie comes from France and tag battles with Wells most of the time. She is also part of team Excalibur with him and Julius Caesar. She is a kind girl, but she is fierce in battle. She wants to become an archaeologist.

Wells

Seiyuu: Yoshimasa Hosoya
Beys used: Grand Ketos WD145RS (Blue)
Special Move: Grand Fleet, Grand Carillon (With Sophie)

This Beyblader comes from England and fights alongside Sophie, and both are in team Excalibur with Julius Caesar.

Beys used: Grand Capricorne 145WD
Special Move: Grand Thunder Screwdriver

Lavshuka

Alekesi

Seiyuu: Hiroki Shimowada
Beys Used: Burn Wolf SW145FS
Special Move: Sputnik

He lives in Russia and encounters Madoka. He seems studious, but he likes to rely on cheating tricks to battle his opponents too. His interest is to study space. He wishes to go there too and they try to get sponsors with the Big Bang Bladers match. Fortunately, even if they lost against Gan Gan Galaxy, they were still sponsored and Aleksei was therefore able to fulfill his dream.

Dora

Seiyuu: Narita Sayaka
Beys Used: Rock Escolpio T125JB
Special Move: Russian Bear Hook, Russian Bear Claw

Nowaguma

Seiyuu: Yuusuke Numata
Beys Used: Rock Orso D125B
Special Move: Russian Bear Hook, Russian Bear Claw

For some odd reason, he wears a huge space suit that gives him airs of a bear because of his tall stature. Because of this costume, his voice is slightly blurred. In general, he is calm, almost shy, but he unleashes his furious style in Beyblade matches and tries to intimidate his opponents with his bear-like attributes.

Wild Fang

Nile
