The Troll Hunter (Norwegian: Trolljegeren) is an upcoming 2010 Norwegian comedy/drama film, made in the form of a mockumentary. It is written and directed by André Ovredal, and features a mixed cast of relative unknowns as well, as well-known Norwegian comedians, including Otto Jespersen. A group of students set out to make a documentary about a supposed bear poacher, Hans, only to find out that Hans hunts something far greater and far more dangerous than simple bears. The Norwegian government has been keeping the existence of Trolls a secret for several years.
