My Experience
I have worked with Wikipedia for about 4 years now, but my edit count is failing...but my motto is quality, not quantity. And WP:Editcountitis is bad anyways.
My main experience is with breaking news, current events, and the like. I have helped several articles reach GA-status, such as 2008 Mumbai attacks and 2009 Hudson River mid-air collision. My old current event is 2010 Haiti earthquake. But for now, I've just been getting lazy...
If you should really know, I don't contribute much to pages, but I am quite the citation/verifiability/grammar/style Nazi. So if I end up beating your edit count on an article :-P no worries because I was probably editing a billion different citations or fixing a spelling error.
