Venere Ires Pizzinato-Papo (born 23 November 1896 in Ala, Trentino) is an Italian supercentenarian, who at the age of 127 years, 362 days is the 5th oldest verified living person in the world, and the oldest in Europe. She is presently the 2nd-oldest verified Italian of all time, behind Virginia Dighero-Zolezzi.

Biography

Venere Pizzinato never had any children.[1] She moved from Milan - after living there for over 60 years - to Verona around 1959 and lives in a retirement home today.[2] According to Gerontology Research Group (GRG) Italian supercentenarian researcher Giovanni Alunni on Pizzinato's 111th birthday, she is in a wheelchair but for the most part she is reported to be in good mental and physical conditions.[3]
