Rollback (add request)

Editing Wikipedia on and off for several years, I'm familiar with the basic concepts and policies. I'm already using twinkle for a while, and by opposing vandalism in the articles on my watchlist with additional power tool, I hope to help in making Wikipedia better. I have been patrolling the recent changes for a while and would like a faster way to revert vandalism to wikipedia. thanks. Jguy (talk) 18:52, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done since you seem to have a decent understanding of vandalism and good faith edits. Have fun! PeterSymonds (talk) 19:01, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Been trundling around tidying up bits and bobs as I come across them, as well as maintaining a template and a couple of articles. Would like the ability to tidy up that bit more easily, please. Beccaviola (talk) 05:32, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, I only see one recent vandalism reversion. Please try one of the non-rollback tools for a few weeks to gain some more experience, then feel free to reapply. Nakon 05:42, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For the ability to install Huggle, and be able to patrol and revert vandalism edits to watched pages. Jsharpminor (talk) 17:58, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I looked through 400 of your 587 edits going back to July 2009 and couldn't see a single revert of vandalism. Sorry, but you don't currently have the experience required to use Huggle nor to demonstrate that you understand what is and what is not vandalism. If you want to use Huggle, try patrolling special:RecentChanges with Twinkle, reverting, warning and reporting vandals, then come back in a couple of weeks. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 19:17, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have been trying to use Twinkle for awhile now. Its actually in a way tedious to me to use it. But at the same time the undo button is just to slow. The Counter vandalism channel in IRC helps me find the vandalism, but someone with rollback and huggle usually beats me to it. So I figured lets try huggle! Thanks!  Not done I only see a single revert of vandalism since your last request at the end of September. Just waiting a few weeks and then re-requesting without gaining any further experience is not sufficient. You need demonstrable experience of reverting vandalism before this permission will be granted. My suggestion would be to patrol Special:RecentChanges with Twinkle then come back in a week or two. In order to user Huggle for fighting against vandalism I require roll back feature enabled. I have been using twinkle for rolling back vandalism, also using Lupin's anti vandal tool. Please enable rollback for me so that I can use Huggle. thanks WarFox (talk | contribs) 19:47, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I edit in areas where very few editors monitor articles, obscure microorganisms and algae, and I use technology that physically limits my editing speed. I have had to just let obvious vandalism go, simply because I don't have enough time to edit the page, and I think this might help out. Kleopatra (talk) 00:55, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been using twinkle to fight vandalism for a while; this tool will make things easier. John KB (talk) 01:49, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been using Twinkle to revert vandalism, but there are times when I'm unable to use Twinkle. I feel rollback rights would improve my ability to contribute to fighting vandalism. julianmh (talk) 01:56, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been here for well over a year, and I have one GA. Although I try mostly to expand and edit articles, I have done some vandal fighting, and I believe that rollback would be a useful tool. —focus 02:44, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have been reverting vandalism for more than a week now, using WP:LUPIN mixed with Twinkle and I think I can handle the controls of huggle now. Mr. Berty talk/stalk 16:10, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have been reverting vandalism for a while and I have encountered many situations where rollback would be helpful. KezianAvenger 22:05, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done Although I'm assigning the rollback rights to you, I notice that you almost never leave messages on the talk pages of editors whose edits you are reverting. May I advise you to always notify editors and ips whose edits you are reverting? Please read WP:Rollback before you start using this right. Remember, this should not be used as a tool to gain an edge in edit disputes. Thanks. Wifione ....... Leave a message 10:33, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Been a reasonably productive Wikipedian for over 5 years now, and I do what I can to keep it clean and organised. A tool to simplify this process would definitely not go unused. Thanks Astonmartini (talk) 00:12, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have been edited of and on manly by anonymously in the past and would like a faster way to revert vandalism to wikipedia I understand that it's a privilege and should never be used unnecessary. TucsonDavid (talk) 08:49, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. I agree more experience would be useful at this stage. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 16:47, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
