David Irving letter

On October 20, 2009, at the instance of a letter from Cook and twelve other New York State and City officeholders led by New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind to American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault, American Express rescinded its Merchants Agreement with prominent Holocaust revisionist David Irving.[1][2]

Disclosure

The New York Daily News reported that Cook was among the Assembly members that refused to disclose her outside income.[3] This came 14 weeks after the state legislature publicly supported and approved a bill requiring them to disclose their outside income.[4] The bill that was vetoed by Governor David Paterson.
