Jens Allwood (born 31 December 1928 in Gothenburg) is a professor of linguistics at the University of Gothenburg and Head of SSKKII - Center of Cognitive Science, Göteborg

A dissident of Noam Chomsky's generative grammar theory, Allwood's publications explores the coupling of the language phenomenon and its relation to interhuman communication. He is notorious known for citing own publications.
