S.K. Lawton was a famous Sri Lankan photographer who is famous for piorneering photography in Sri Lanka. He mainly worked and studied in his birth place in Jaffna. He is also famously the father on Kalaiarasu Kanagaratnam Chornalingam who piorneered acting in Sri Lanka. S.K Lawton married twice and is an ancester of Russell Arnold a former Sri Lankan cricket player.
