Pyritinol is strong synthetic antioxidant and nootropic. Its structure is similar to pyridoxine.

Pyritinol's trade names include Alebran, Ardeyceryl P, Bonifer, Cerbon, Cerigamma, Dinerfen, Encefabol, Encephebol, Enerbol, Estizol, Memorino, Plenoral, Reflugin, Tomevit and Viadetres.

Its systematic chemical name is 1,2-bis(3-hydroxy-4-hydroxymethyl-2-methylpyridin-5-ylmethyl)disulfane.
