Orlando Smeekes (born 28 December 1981 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Netherlands Antilles footballer. He plays for FC Carl Zeiss Jena.
Career
On 10 September 2008 he left Go Ahead Eagles and moved to German 3. Liga Club Stuttgarter Kickers. After the relegation of the Stuttgarter Kickers signed with FC Carl Zeiss Jena on 26 June 2009.[1] In July 2010 joined for a trial week at Coventry City F.C., which did not result in a full time contract. He is now attempting to get a contract at Blackburn Rovers.[2]
International career
Smeekes is also an active member of the Netherlands Antilles.[3]
