History
The Pillow Pet was first introduced in 2003. It was invented by a mother of two from San Diego, California. Basically, the mother was tired of picking up stuffed animals after her children had left them after play, and she combined the pillow with a stuffed animal.
In the early 2010s, they become a very popular made for TV item, selling millions of units.
