Asgardian RFC/U
Hi there. I was wondering if you would help me finish up the RFC/U regarding User:Asgardian. I'm going to put the RFC into place before the end of the year, so it would really be great if you could provide any help you are able to give. What I need most are diffs displaying the disputed behavior. I have some already here, but could use some more. I mean just a list of diffs to put in the first five or so categories I listed there, as I already have more than enough illustrative examples. Anything that you think is edit warring (mutiple similar edits to the same article in the span of a few days), incivility, inaccurate edit summaries, or other similar behavioral problems. List them on the RFCU talk page - just the diffs is all I need, because I want people reading the RFC to be able to draw their own conclusions.
Also, I have come up with a desired outcome and a description of the case based on the comments that have been gathered, and I would appreciate any responses to that on the talk page.
Thanks! BOZ (talk) 05:50, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi there,
I'm just letting you know that the Asgardian RFC/U has begun.
If you like, you may post an "Outside view" below Asgardian's response section, detailing their own feelings on the matter. Likewise, you may endorse the main statement, Asgardian's response, or any other view posted on the page.
Thank you for your participation. BOZ (talk) 00:51, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, I appreciate your candor. :) I'll admit that the desired outcome is pretty mild and vague, but then I was left with the task of writing it myself, and weak and vague is my specialty. ;) I honestly think I like your response the best so far! BOZ (talk) 03:37, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
Better late than never, I guess
This was written in a fairly uncivil manner by me (albeit before an identity crisis) back in 2007. Not that it has much bearing on anything at the moment but I just wanted to apologize for the unnecessary tone and attitude and to thank you for not replying to me in an equally uncivil manner. Needless to say, I don't communicate in such a way anymore. I just happened to come across that link somewhat randomly and thought it fair to let you know what I think about that exchange now.

Reason #2
Second reason why I don't contribute as much to the comics project these days is that I've had growing COI issues. I keep getting to know people we're writing about. Recently Adam West greeted me by name and said to his manager and again later to one of his family members, "You remember [my name], don't you?" Knowing Adam is more fun than editing his Wikipedia article. Doczilla STOMP! 08:15, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, that is cool. :) I'm sure he is fun - anyone that would play a long-running parody character of themselves on Family Guy has got to be all about having fun. BOZ (talk) 15:35, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- He really is fun, yes. Probably the most common question I get regarding him is "Is he like that in real life?" - meaning like Mayor West. No. He's not a total loon. He's a smart, friendly man who knows exactly what's going on around him. The character only reflects his real personality in that it shows his willingness to go along with any joke. - Someday I'll get back into the convention scene (wistful sigh).
- And yes things have been ok. Wishing I had more time for wikipedia. - jc37 03:14, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Asgardian RFC closed, now at arbitration
Hello,
Thank you for participating in the recent RFC/U regarding Asgardian. The RFC has been closed, and the case is now at arbitration. You are neither required nor requested to participate, but you may view the initial statements for the case (please do not edit that page), and you may view the evidence presented and add more evidence if you wish, or simply follow the case. BOZ (talk) 03:54, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding your comment that Asgardian has acknowledged stirring things up for "experimental purposes" (which tends to be the official advanced troll "PC" synonym for relentless completely dishonourable sadism, and deliberate misinformation-mongering), but didn't have the energy to bother checking for a link list, since it never leads anywhere no matter what he does for how long, and that you have better things to do with your time than playing his game. I have strongly noticed the same thing over the years. Given that the arbitration request nears its final stages it would be extremely helpful if you could find and showcase the link(s?) in which he admits this, given that the evaluation in some cases has taken an odd track in assuming that he actually has good intentions and wants to change for the better (rather than exploit this benevolent quality in others, say anything whatsoever that he thinks they want to hear, and then break his word at first opportunity as usual). I think that it actually would make a serious difference if you could find the energy to check this. Thank you. Dave (talk) 13:13, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Mike Mignola, 2006.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Mike Mignola, 2006.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Help with an RfC
I'm sorry to ask: The rules for establishing an RfC appear to require that two editors first go the talk page where the dispute lies and try to mediate first. I'm simply notifying you and a couple of other veteran neutrally that there is a dispute at John Buscema. Thank you for any attention to this brewing edit war, a repetition of one from 2008. --Tenebrae (talk) 03:32, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Consensus discussion on photo
Hi. I've started a consensus discussion here, and would appreciate your input. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:17, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
Happy Thanksgiving
It's been a while, Doc, but it's always, always welcome to see your sig at an edit. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! --Tenebrae (talk) 16:25, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- And happy to see you taking a break from stomping Tokyo! From the sound of things, I'm hoping that if you're a budding comics creator yourself that nothing but good things happen for you! With great regards as always, --Tenebrae (talk) 22:03, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Discussion on Project page
Hi. Can you give your thoughts in this discussion I've started? Thanks. Happy Holidays. Nightscream (talk) 18:39, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Need opinions on photos
Hi. A disagreement has arisen over which of two photos would be better as the main Infobox image for the Ben Templesmith article. Can you participate in this discussion? Thanks, and Happy Holidays. :-) Nightscream (talk) 04:55, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your participation. Just out of curiosity, is a site preference for color over black and white explicitly indicated on some guideine or policy page? Nightscream (talk) 00:12, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- No specific guideline. I'd just argue that color provide additional information about how people/places/things actually look. Doczilla STOMP! 02:17, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info on Ben Templesmith. That's hilarious! --GentlemanGhost (talk) 19:37, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

The Endtime Warriors
I have a question, I have a small unknown band. I was wondering if I could make a band page even if we arn't that big? The K.O. King (talk) 15:09, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Walker
What if I were to create a page on the fictional character Cordell Walker? The K.O. King (talk) 17:48, 9 March 2011 (UTC)
I know that the show has a page, I'm talking about the character that Chuck Norris plays. The K.O. King (talk) 15:04, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
