Rollback (add request)

Have been an active user recently and have fought vandalism in the recent changes on this account and my alternate account. Have used Twinkle in Firefox but would like to use the rollback feature in Internet Explorer as Twinkle doesn't work. If you do decide to grant me Rollback Rights, please would you grant it on my alternate account too so that I may rollback vandalism at public computers. I frequently use Twinkle in place of this. I have reverted a TON of vandalism that way, and I would like it so I don't have to rely on Twinkle Jasper Deng (talk) 01:32, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is persistent vandalism of the page on The Doon School, some of which appears to originate from the school's computers (based upon IP address lookup). The intent of this vandalism is generally to suppress any information that might tarnish the image that the school wishes to promote, even if it means eliminating factually-correct, properly-cited sources and descriptions written with a neutral point of view. Most recently, there have been repeated attacks to eliminate mention of a controversial film that the school's headmaster is trying to suppress. I have been maintaining this page more than any other contributor, and am having to do rollbacks more often than I would like.

Have you tried Twinkle ? This might be better for occasional reverts. Mlpearc powwow 21:33, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have been an active Wikipedian for the past three years. This is the most recent instance of myself reverting vandalism. I believe that the granting of Rollback rights should make reverting vandalism easier. If you do decide to grant me Rollback Rights, then please grant it on my alternate account as well so that I may rollback vandalism at public computers. I've been patrolling new pages for the last few days using Twinkle. I always warn vandals. I've read Wikipedia:Vandalism and especially the parts about what is not vandalism. Rollback would be useful for a few cases where Twinkle is not quite enough. @ d \/\/ | | |Talk 00:31, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The reason that I want to use the rollback feature is well, because I like it and I want to revert vandalism to fix the article. It is very similar to Twinkle.I will the rollback on Internet Explorer and\or Firefox.I think it is a great feature to use.Oh, and I also revert vandalism.--Damirgraffiti (talk) 03:53, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I use Twinkle on Firefox but would like to be able to use rollback to undo Vandalism if I am on a computer which dosn't have a compatable browser insted of waiting to get back to my PC which has Firefox installed. I would all way warn anyone and give them the chance to undo the vandalism themslves before I intervened and used rollback as I currently do with Twinkle.  Not done I'm sorry but you have only been on Wikipedia for 5 days. I don't see any vandalism reverts, and you have already been blocked for edit warring. I just don't have enough contributions to judge you on. GFOLEY FOUR19:53, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It would be easier to manage vandalism. ashwinikalantri talk 19:46, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
