Fires at Midnight is a Blackmore's Night's third studio album released on July 10, 2001 through Steamhammer US / SPV. Whilst maintaining the same folk rock style established on their previous two releases, there are more electric guitar parts on this album.

In 2004 the album went Gold in the Czech Republic.[1]

It featured the singles "The Times They Are a Changin'", "Home Again" and "All Because of You".

  • Bonus track 1, "Possum's Last Dance", was previously US only bonus track on Shadow of the Moon.
  • Bonus track 2, "Sake of Song", was also the non-album B-side to the European single "The Times They Are a Changin'". The song was re-recorded as "Sake Of The Song" (with vocals) and "Song And Dance" (an instrumental version of the same track) on Autumn Sky.
