Amanda Beatriz Olivares Phillips (born circa 1966 in Puebla, Mexico) is a former Miss Mexico who represented her country in the 1988 Miss Universe pageant, held in Taipei, Taiwan on May 23, 1988 and obtained the second runner-up spot.[1]

During Miss Universe, Amanda Olivares was also the only contestant from the Americas, as well as the only non-Asian to make it into the top five that year. The winner, Porntip Nakhirunkanok of Thailand, and the remaining three were all Asian.[1] To this day, and after the victories of Lupita Jones and Ximena Navarrete in 1991 and 2010, respectively, Olivares remains the second highest placing Mexican delegate in Miss Universe history.
