According to recent Vampire Novel like Bite Club ... A Renfield also means a companion of a vampire who was formerly a mortal. And was at some point been created through a blood exchanging process with a vampire. A Renfield in Bite Club is considerably weaker than an actual vampire, but can dwell during the day and is immortal.
Technicly that point is Mute about dwelling in the day. in the Origenal Novel for Dracula Vampires were able to freely move about by day the idea that they couldn't first came about in the film Nosferatu. Tnu1138 (talk) 22:57, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

I looked at the Bedlam Assylum, and I really don't see how this relates to the character of Renfield. So, why is it on the article? -Diabolos 17:03, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
